Post subject:  Reasons why Norton blocking Firefox

If your Norton blocking Firefox for a number of reasons. Here are some possible reasons:

Norton Firewall setups: A firewall included into Norton 360 sometimes prevents Firefox from connecting to the internet. This can happen if Firefox is not added to the list of trusted apps or if the firewall settings are configured too strictly.

Conflict between Norton Add-ons and Firefox Add-ons: On occasion, this can cause a blockage in the browser. If the Norton and Firefox Add-ons are attempting to complete the same operation at the same time, this may occur.
Infection with malware: If Norton discovers malware or viruses in the browser, it may often block Firefox. To protect your machine from extra damage.
