Ways to kill bedbugs Bedbugs can be eliminated by cleaning the house, in an attempt to get rid of it without using chemicals, and the most important of these methods is high heat, i.e. 45 degrees Celsius, or extreme cold, i.e. a temperature below zero degrees Celsius, and the use of these methods is as follows :[4] Washing clothes and bedding with hot water for half an hour, then placing them in the dryer at the maximum temperature for half an hour as well, and using a fumigator on curtains and places where bugs hide. Collecting contaminated materials with black bags and placing them under the sun on a hot day or in a closed car, or placing them in a place with a low temperature. Killing bedbug eggs may take a period of two to five months.
