Fleece blankets are the perfect solution to cold winter nights. However, does fleece shrink? The answer is yes! Fleece does shrink when it is washed and dried for the first time. This happens because of how the fabric is created. When you wash your new blanket, it will lose about 10% of its size due to this shrinking process.
