Hello,
I am trying to find the right model for a roof rack for my bmw serie 118i. on thule.com which asked for the year of the vehicle. Problem is that I don't manage to find the right date on the paper of the vehicle.
Some articles say that the 10th character of the VIN indicates the year which is 0 in my case and there is no year assigned to that value. There are dogdy (and old) websites asking for my VIN but none I tried worked.
More info on my vehicle:

variant: 1R51
version: 6H150000

Hey! If you want to know what year a particular BMW was released, then it is best to use Vinchain for this. On this site you can check the vehicle using its VIN code, which will allow you to find out the year of its production. You can also get vin coin for using the VIN code check on this site.
