Post subject:  An Example of a Sleeping Medication

An example of a sleeping medication is the prescription sleep aid buy zopiclone (Zimonvane). This is one of the so-called "Z drugs", which are non-benzodiazepine hypnotics in the pyrazolopyrimidine class.

It works by regulating the GABA receptors in the brain. This is what causes sleepiness.

This drug is used to treat sleep problems, such as insomnia, and it has a short half-life (the time it takes for the drug to disappear from your body). It may also help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer.

The usual dose is 7.5 mg taken just before bedtime. A lower dose is sometimes used for elderly people or those with kidney or liver problems.

You should not take Zopiclone if you are allergic to any of its ingredients, have a history of glaucoma or urinary retention or are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors or antidepressants. If you experience trouble getting to sleep or wake up too early, talk with your doctor.

Side effects can include drowsiness, dizziness and a dry mouth. These effects usually last for a few hours after you start taking the medicine.

You should also read the label on any other Imovane 7.5 mg or supplements you are taking, as they may interact with this medication.
