For example, in an animal study, Moodvigil improved performance on a serial reversal discrimination task. It also decreased stress-related changes in blood pressure, heart rate and plasma corticosterone levels in rats. In humans, modafinil 200 mg also increased performance on a cognitive test that measures speed of response and executive functions. It also reduced errors on the Wisconsin Card Sort Test and interference on the Stroop test. |
